A reminder - with NSW State Relays being held on 22 & 23 November, 2008 regular Saturday morning competition has been cancelled. When we return on 29 November U12 are on set up, U8 on Canteen and U9 on BBQ. U13 & U14 are on packup

For those going to NSW State Relays look for the Hills team in the stands, it is much easier to assemble the team when we are all close together. Athletes, make sure you check in with your Age Manager or their representative on arrival.

The event is being held at Campbelltown Athletics Stadium, Leumeah. Parking is off Old Leumeah Road.

A very big congratulations to all Hill District athletes who trialled for the Trans Tasman Championships.
The club is very pleased to announce the selection of the following in the NSW Trans Tasman team to compete in Sydney on January 18, 2009.

Jordan Shelley
Benjamin Thomson
Joshua Windsor

Elouise Abrahams has been selected as a reserve for the team.

I am pleased to announce our Bronte Bryant and Nicholas Hough as Club Captains for 2008-2009. Bronte and Nicholas were nominated by there peers and were presented thier Club Captain Kit from Life Member Dennis Coker on Saturday. Bronte and Nicholas will do themselves and the club proud as they perform their duties this season.

North West Zone requires volunteers from each club to paricipate in the running of the carnival. To assist people with the required skills they are holding a Level D Officals Course (no prior experience is necessary!) at Morgan Powers Reserve, Kings Langley on 12 October.
They require officals to assist with athlete registration, race walking, starting / timing, Jumps (long, triple, high), and throws. Further info is attached
