New Results System

One of the big changes for the 2013/14 season will be the introduction of a new web based system called Results HQ. This product has been developed by a Melbourne based company called Timing Solutions and is used by a number of Victorian, NSW and WA clubs.

The main advantages of the new system are:

  • More timely publishing of results to the web
  • Improved methods & processes for entering data
  • Reduced need to issue result tickets

As with any new system we are expecting some ‘teething’ problems and ask for your patience while we embark on this journey. We are using the first 2 weeks of competition (normally non recording weeks) as a period to test out the new system so some data will be recorded but it will then be removed at the start of Week 3.

Your child’s registration number is the main identification for the new system and it would be helpful to have this attached to your child’s uniform as soon as possible. Pinning the number to the uniform is perfectly adequate. It is particularly disrupting to the system if your child is wearing last year’s number; as this could cause their results to be credited to another athlete.
