Presentation Day (Night) & AGM – Castle Hill RSL – April 27th

Season 2011/2012 has been an important year in the club’s history, we celebrated our 40th year, and a special thank you to all age managers, parents, helpers and committee that made this year successful.    Although we have stopped running on our Saturday morning competition there is still an opportunity to maintain your fitness with the Cross Country & Walks program, which commences 10 a.m. on April 15 at Crestwood Oval, which runs through to the State Championships in July.    We also have our Presentation Night, and AGM to conclude on April 27, 2012.

Next season we have a few committee members stepping down, and we encourage new members to join and participate so we can incorporate new ideas and energy into the club.  The committee are very willing to mentor and coach new members in the committee positions.  If you have a desire to undertake a particular role please don’t hesitate to ask one of the committee, and understand the level of time needed.

Presentation Day & AGM  has been rescheduled to Friday 27 April, 2012 from 6 p.m.  at Castle Hill RSL main auditorium.  Age groups are will be called up and awarded their trophies and awards so please be on time, there will be plenty of photo opportunities when we have the age group together.    Once the evening is completed we would encourage age groups to make the most of the RSL’s facilities and gather for team dinners etc.

The AGM is an opportunity to raise issues and vote for improvements within the club. To vote at the AGM you are required to be a financial member of the club. Attached is a Membership Form which needs to be completed and returned to Jenny Glover, Secretary with the membership fee of one dollar ($1.00).

In accordance with the club’s bylaws all official positions become vacant at the AGM. It is important that we have new people join the committee so that new ideas are raised and implementd for the successful running of our club. Nominations are sort for the positions listed below for season 20012/13. See position descriptions.

Remember… Nomination and voting can only be made by fully financial member of the club i.e. you need to complete the Membership form and pay your membership.
