Posted May 24, 2010

Just a reminder to all athletes that Sprint Training with Steve Denning continues through the winter months on a Wednesday evening 5:30 - 7 p.m. With State Level Athletes having a follow up session with Steve on Saturday. We have marked the top field at Roxborough Park where the training will take place.

Roxborough Park Update

Posted May 24, 2010

Just a reminder to all athletes that Roxborough Park remains closed until the end of August. The park has gone under considerable repair and requires care over the winter months, we hope to get access in late August to mark the track ready for the start of our competition in September. For those that drive by you will see that the entire surface has been leveled, with new soil and drainage, the grass has been replaced and is slowly bedding in the root system.

The cooler weather will make the recovery longer and we ask that people be vigilant and monitor usage. Please help us protect the surface of Roxborough Park, any usage could damage the growing process and leave holes, divots and wear.

I am sure our athletes will look forward to running on a level and safer ground for our 2010/11 season.
